Homemade tandoori masala powder recipe is a mix of spices that can take your marination to an altogether different level. Tandoori masala powder can not only be used during marination but also in gravies, sandwiches, salads etc.
Spices having strong flavors i.e. ginger (saunth) powder, nutmeg (jayphal) powder, mace etc are used to make Tandoori Masala. Make sure to use them in the mentioned quantity as their excess use will change the flavor of Tandoori Masala. Red food color powder is also used, although optional, gives a pro look to the appetizers (you know what I mean) and therefore should be used.
Another rare but useful masala powder is achaari masala. As is garam masala for gravies, so is achaari masala for bread. View the recipe here.
