Rose flavored coconut ladoo… coconut doesn’t need any additional flavoring. It’s a star in itself. At times you might want to break the monotony. At times you might want to do something festive. At times you might want to make something cute. For all these times, we have this recipe.
The recipe calls for 2 main ingredients i.e. desiccated coconut and condensed milk. To add some color and flavor in coconut laddu recipe I have added rose squash. You can also add cardamom (elaichi), saffron (kesar), raisin or any other nuts for the flavouring. Or keep it just plain, coconut is a star in itself, after all.
1. Heat 1 tsp ghee.
2. Add 1 and 1/2 cup desiccated coconut.
3. Cook on low flame for 1 minute.
4. Add 1/2 cup condensed milk and 1 tsp rose squash.
5. Cook on low flame for 2 minutes.
6. Let the mixture cool down for 2-3 minutes.
7. Get ready to bind the ladoo.
8. Roll the ladoo and coat desiccated coconut to get your rose flavored coconut ladoo.
9. Serve the rose flavored coconut ladoo to your dear ones.
10. Pick and take the flavour of rose coconut ladoo.
