One of the most common meals in North India is Dal Makhani with Lachha Paratha. However, this is one combo which is often ordered at the restaurants or dhabas instead of being prepared at home. There are a number of ways of making dal makhani. On the blog itself, there are a number of recipes for dal makhani. But this recipe for dal makhani is my favorite. Although it calls for enough butter and heavy cream the taste is worth all the fat the goes in. Dal makhani tastes divine with rice or tandoori roti too, but if you can make perfect lachha parathas at home, nothing better than that! It is a crowd-pleaser combination so you can try making it at the next party you host. You can further add in any raita to this. However do not the onion lachha.
Here you go!
