Coffee Concentrate Recipe | How to make Coffee Concentrate

What is Coffee Concentrate?

The coffee concentrate is basically a combination of water, sugar, and coffee; sugar syrup and instant coffee powder to be precise, which helps in making coffee in no time without any efforts at all. Coffee concentrate can be used to make hot or cold coffee. The same can be customized as per taste. This concentrate gives a fairly flavored coffee which is quite sweet because that is how I like my coffee. I would recommend you make a small batch of concentrate and try it and if required adjust the same and then make a large batch and store.

Let’s talk about the ingredients for Cold Coffee Concentrate

My cold coffee ingredients ratio goes like this: 1 cup milk + 2 tbsp sugar + ½ tbsp instant coffee powder. And accordingly, I have made this concentrate. You can adjust the same as per your taste. For the concentrate, I have used

Sugar Syrup: It is a must-have during summers for your cold beverages. However, if you don’t have or don’t want to make it, alternate has been mentioned in the recipe.

Instant Coffee Powder: Use good quality coffee powder for a kicky coffee.

Flavoring: I love cinnamon in my coffee and therefore I have added little cinnamon powder while making the coffee concentrate. This is totally optional and you can even play with the flavoring by adding vanilla, cocoa powder, etc.

Hi! I am CA Vini Mehta. A Chartered Accountant by profession, a food blogger by passion! First of all, I would like to thank you for stopping by at Viniscookbook, I hope you have a good time. Here, yo...u will find the recipes which have been tried, at times re-tried in my kitchen and relished on the dining table. I am mother of two kids and the wife of a person with a high and selective taste sense, so basically anything, before finding its place on the blog, has many levels to cross and clear. This journey started a couple of years back. Before that I was making the most usual kind of food. The only experiment used to be asking my mother how to make something new or different☺. Then, one day, I tried a recipe for butter cookies. And they did not get to go in the container as they were over before I could store them. That day I was introduced to the joy of experimenting with recipes. And I loved everything else that followed especially garnishing and photographing food. I am still not well versed with the photography dos and don’ts but I love to experiment and learn, be it photography or cooking. Hope you too enjoy this journey as much as I do☺! Stay healthy, stay tuned!.
