Savoury Kordoi Recipe is an Assamese snack made using whole wheat flour, flavoured with carom seeds, cumin seeds, onions, etc. It is a great snack for kids as it is made with the whole wheat flour and it is given an interesting shape which is sure to tempt the little ones. It also makes for a healthy breakfast. I love to serve it as an evening snack with a cup of chai.
Kordoi is a whole wheat healthy snack. It doesn’t call for too many ingredients. All you need is
Whole wheat flour/atta: This Indian snack is prepared with whole wheat, unlike other snack recipes which call for all-purpose flour.
Flavors: It has been flavoured with 2 ingredients commonly used to flavor the Indian snacks or homemade snacks such as mathri, sakhein; i.e. cumin seeds, carom seeds etc. Apart from these onions and carrot have also been used. Make sure to finely chop the onions.
Homemade snacks are the best. And for my munching time, I prefer Indian snacks. There are a few snack recipes on the blog such as masala khakhra, roasted peanuts, roasted poha chivda. These are healthy and flavorful evening snacks.
