Lemon: Nice and juicy lemons work the best for lemon mint iced tea. You can increase or decrease the quantity of lemon juice as per your liking. Lemon juice should not be added when the tea is hot or warm.

1.This recipe makes 2 glasses of mint lemon iced tea.
2.In a pan heat 2 cups of water.
3.Let it simmer.
4.Add 1 tsp of tea powder.
5.Let it steep for 3-5 minutes. Steep longer for stronger tea.
6.Strain it.
7.While it is warm, add 4 tbsp of sugar.
8.Mix it till it dissolves. Refrigerate it to cool down.
9.Once it is cold, squeeze in one lemon.
10.Add a handful of mint leaves in a mortar pestle. Crush the same.
11.Add the crushed mint leaves to the prepared lemon tea.
12.Blend the mixture well.
13.Thereafter strain it once.
Tips:This step is optional. If you like mint leaves chunks in iced tea, do not strain it.
14.In a pitcher or glasses, add in a few ice cubes.
15.Followed by a sprig of mint leaves.
16.Pour in the lemon tea.
