The soft, moist, gooey, absolutely chocolaty cake is Chocolate Banana Mug Cake. Oh! did I tell you it is sugar-free? Yes, this mug cake recipe doesn’t call for any sugar at all. But that doesn’t mean that the cake isn’t sweet. It is very appropriately sweet. Banana adds the required sweetness to the cake. Not only sweetness but bananas also add a lot of flavors, that really compliments the chocolaty flavor of the cake. This mug cake is absolutely fuss-free, just like most of the mug cakes. It can be prepared in 10 minutes, literally and the best part is that it doesn’t call for any special ingredients too. You can pull it off with the items easily available in your pantry. So, do you need any reason to make this delish guilt-free, easy and quick dessert? Of course not!
Flour: I have used the all-purpose flour for this mug cake recipe. And I am not too sure about the texture of this cake if prepared using whole wheat flour or a combination of whole wheat and all-purpose flour.
Cocoa Powder: This ingredient plays a very important role in and chocolate-based desserts, where, of course, it is used. I have used cocoa powder by Indian Native. It is the unprocessed cocoa powder and has an awesome flavor.
Banana: Riped bananas mashed perfectly work the best for this recipe.
Oil: Very little oil is added.
Baking Powder: Little baking powder also goes in. And please do not confuse baking powder with baking soda. The two are different. Completely!
If you like your cakes sugary, you will like the eggless mug cake recipe. Talking about the mug recipes, did you check the mug dhokla recipe. This is just amazing. Mug dhoklas are great for tea times or kitty parties. These are so presentable yet so easy and simple to make.
