Cheese Pinwheel Samosa calls for
samosa sheets: For perefect samosa, it is critical to have perfect samosa sheets and for that the dough needs to be perfect. Correct quantity of oil and water for kneading the dough gives perfectly flaky and crisp samosa.
cheese stuffing: I have used boiled potatoes, cheese and spices for stuffing. According to your choice, you can add any spices or vegetables.
1. In a bowl add 1 cup all purpose flour(Maida), 2tbsp semolina, 3 tbsp oil, 1tsp oregano and salt to taste. Mix all ingredients. Knead soft and smooth dough using water. Cover the dough with a cloth and keep aside for 20 minutes
2. In a bowl add 2 boiled and grated potatoes, 1/3 cup grated processed cheese, 1 tsp chilli flakes, 1 tsp seasoning, 1 tsp oregano and salt to taste
3. Mix well
4. Take large portion of dough and roll it with the help of rolling pin
5. Spread stuffing
6. Level it with the help of a rolling pin
7. Roll it tightly to make a log and cut 1/2 – 1 inch slices as per your choice
8. Softly press it with hands
9. One by one place all pinwheel in a greased baking tray
10. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 degree centrigrade till golden brown from both the sides. Finally grease with butter
