Tea infused with cardamom is cardamom tea. Okay, now that was very obvious! Basically, tea prepared with some crushed cardamom seeds is elaichi wali chai. It not only has a kicky flavor but also has many health benefits. Cardamom tea helps in digestion of food, cures flu, inflammation etc. However as it goes for anything, the excess should be avoided.
Every person, every tea lover rather, has his own recipe for chai! However here I am sharing the combination I use for my perfect cuppa. You can adjust the quantitieLet 1 and ½ cup of water simmer.s as per your liking, or go as per mine, you will like it. My mom would always discard the green skin of cardamoms and use only seeds. And that is what I also do. I use 2 cardamoms per cup for a nice flavor. I add crushed cardamom seeds twice while brewing the tea and then finally towards the end.

1. Let 1 and ½ cup of water simmer.
2. Add 2 tsp tea leaves and 4 tsp sugar.
3. Next goes in the star, crushed seeds of 2 cardamoms. Let it simmer for 2 minutes.
4. Add 1 cup milk.
5. Simmer for 2 minutes.
6. Finally crushed seeds of 2 more cardamom pods. Simmer for 30 seconds.
7. Strain it. I missed clicking the picture, but I had strained it, believe me (haha).
